Temperature sensitive foam
Draka Interfoam offers an extensive range of viscoelastic foams in various densities from 40 kg/m3 to approximately 80 kg/m3. These qualities are perfectly suited for producing cushions and mattress toppers. The viscoelastic foams are specially developed to distribute bodyweight, absorb energy and regulate heat. The viscoelastic qualities include low temperature sensitivity and offer optimal pressure distribution on the contact surface at any temperature. This means that our foams maintain their optimal (viscoelastic) qualities in a wide range of temperatures. In other words, these qualities still feel flexible even in low temperatures.
The higher densities are specially developed for situations in which reducing pressure points on the body, humidity and heat regulation combined with comfort is extremely important, particularly in preventing bedsores. Pressure distribution can be further optimised by combining our Pantera® or Cellflex® qualities. If you are looking for a 100% open cell structured viscoelastic quality for superb ventilation then our range also includes the Novacomfort®.
